Mythology isn’t just a set of ancient psychological blueprints.
Mythology has always been about so much more than the landscape of the human mind.
Before Jung and our modern inclination to out ourselves at the center of every story, myths were told to help us find ourselves in the landscape of the everything.
Myths show us how to navigate places and seasons. Myths are a guide to how to communicate with the creatures and all the other aspects of nature that speak without words.
And yes, mythology also helps us understand ourselves in relationship to it all.
Let’s gather together on May 4 (at 11 AM ET on Zoom) to talk through the many facets and possibilities of myth.
Our Myth Workers’ Salons are for all paid subscribers.
The conversation is rooted in the stories you know and love from KnotWork Myth & Storytelling, and your paid Substack subscription helps us produce the show, week after week.
