What story from mythology or folklore lends you courage in this moment?
Is there a character, scene, or symbol that brings you particular comfort right now?
How are you finding wisdom in the land and receiving guidance from the more-than-human world? (Because, of course, the wisdom that lies at the heart of the myths we love originates in the wild wonder of the earth herself.)
These are the sorts of questions that might* light our way when we gather together for the first Myth Workers’ Salon tomorrow, March 23, at 10 AM ET.
*Might? Might. After years of holding space for conversations online, both with long-running communities and groups that come together for a brief and brilliant session, I have come to trust the spontaneity and surprise that are woven into every gathering.
This is what I know for sure: tomorrow, we’ll come together because…
we have a sense that mythology matters in this modern moment.
we know that there’s some sort of personal and collective healing to be found in exploring these old stories together.
there are thousands of KnotWork Myth & Storytelling listeners scattered across the globe, and I trust that something magical will happen when we sit in a circle when the energy of the equinox is fresh in the air.
This gathering, held on Zoom is open to all paid Myth Is Medicine subscribers.
Can’t make it live? Supporters will receive the recording later tomorrow.
Your monthly or yearly contribution to this newsletter enables us to produce the KnotWork podcast, season after season. This gathering is one more way to say thank you for all your support.
