Sheelah & the Myth Workers: Live at Your House this Sunday
Join us for the first Myth Workers' Salon on March 23 at 10 AM ET
Happy Sheelah’s Day!
According to the folklore of the 18th & 19th centuries, March 18 is Saint Sheelah’s Day. Who was Sheelah? Why, Saint Patrick’s wife, of course!
If you’re a frequent KnotWork Myth & Storytelling, you’ve heard my story of Sheelah and Patrick. In this pillow talk scene, our heroine tries to sort out all of complicated, pagan feelings that are constantly stirred up by being married to the first patriarch of the Irish church.
It’s my favorite story to tell, and now, in the midst of Sheelah’s season, it feels like the perfect time to gather the community of KnotWork listeners to talk about this story and others.
Our first Myth Workers’ Salon is open to all paid newsletter subscribers.
We’ll meet on Zoom from 10 - 11 AM ET on Sunday, March 23.
Bring your questions and your dreams. We’d love to hear about what emerged for you as you listened to stories and conversation with the Season 6 guests, and any of the previous shows that still hold your heart.
And, bring your journal. We’ll probably spend a little bit of time capturing our ideas on the page. (You can take the writing coach out of her writing group, but she’s always going to offer a writing prompt when she holds a circle!)
The Zoom link will go out to all paid subscribers on Saturday. To join us, please upgrade your subscription to the monthly or yearly level.
As you probably know, all the proceeds from my Substack go toward supporting the ongoing production costs of KnotWork Myth & Storytelling.
As an independent ad-free podcast, the show depends on listeners’ generosity. This Myth Workers’ Salon is my way of thanking you for keeping us on the air.
